Description / Abstract:
This specification establishes requirements for two types and
classes of a two component, low temperature curing, polysulfide,
sealing compound for use as a quick-repair material for aircraft
structure.
Classification:
The sealing compound shall be of the following types and classes, as specified (see 6.2).
Types:
Type I - Dichromate cure system
Type II - Manganese cure system
Classes:
Class A - Suitable for brush application
Class B - Suitable for application with extrusion gun or spatula.
