Description / Abstract:
Wire cutters as described in this standard are intended for use
in cutting aerospace vehicle wiring including airplanes,
helicopters, missiles and spacecraft. Not all wire cutters
described in the applicable detail standard slash sheets are
suitable for all types of wires. Users are cautioned to evaluate
wire cutters based on the intended wires and cables to be cut, and
usage environment.
