Heat Treatment of Aluminum Alloys
Description / Abstract:
This specification is intended for use in all phases of the
control of processes and equipment applied to the heat treatment of
aluminum alloy cast, forged, rolled, drawn, and extruded products.
It covers products which are essentially raw materials for
subsequent operations. It does not cover "parts" in the meaning of
that term used in AMS 2770 which is not intended to be applicable
to primary mill products. Assigning a part number to a mill product
does not change its status from that of a raw mill product to that
of a part.
