Form
This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of plate 4.000 to 10.000 inch (101.6 to 254.0 mm), inclusive, in nominal thickness (see 8.5).
Application
This plate has been used typically for parts requiring a high level of mechanical properties and moderate resistance to stress-corrosion cracking, but usage is not limited to such applications.
