Description / Abstract:
The hose assemblies are intended for use in aircraft
high-pressure 21 000 kPa hydraulic and pneumatic systems operating
in a temperature range of -54 °C to 204 °C. High-pressure pneumatic
storage system applications are not recommended. Installations in
which the limits specified herein are exceeded, or in which the
application is not covered specifically by this specification will
be subject to the approval of the procuring activity. The component
parts of the hose fittings are not intended for reuse.
Fire Resistance: When fireproofing or fire resistance of assemblies with AS1072 or equivalent firesleeves is a requirement, the test shall be conducted to the procedures and requirements specified in AS1055.
