Description / Abstract: CODE A: This sleeve is used to provide a transparent cover for hose assembly identification bands to prevent injury to personnel by sharp edges or projection.

CODE B: This sleeve is used to provide an outer cover on the hose for abrasion protection.

CODE C: This sleeve is used to provide a transparent cover for hose assembly identification bands to prevent injury to personnel by sharp edges or projection.

CODE D: This sleeve is used to provide an outer cover on the hose for abrasion protection.

MATERIALS:

CODE A: Heat-shrinkable transparent, irradiated polyolefin tubing in accordance with AMS 3637, except for overexpantded D1 diameters of -3A, 5A, 7A, 9A, and 11A. This material is not flame-resistant.

CODE B: Heat-shrinkable, opaque black irradiated polyolefin tubing in accordance with AMS 3636, except for over expanded D1 diameters of -3B, 5B, 7B, 9B, and 11B. This material is self-extinguishing when exposed to flame.

CODE C: Heat-shrinkable, fluorinated ethylene propylene, non-cross-linked transparent (water, white to transparent light blue ) in accordance with MIL-I-23053/11.

CODE D: Heat-shrinkable, fluorinated ethylene propylene, non-cross-linked opaque black.
