Description / Abstract:
The hose assemblies are intended for use in aircraft high
temperature fluid systems where pressure surges are limited to
maximum operating pressure ratings listed in Table 1. The specified
temperature range is -55 to 204 °C. Pneumatic storage system
applications are not recommended. Installations in which the limits
specified herein are exceeded, or in which the application is not
covered specifically by this specification, will be subject to the
approval of the procuring activity. The end fittings of these hose
assemblies are not intended for reuse.
Fire Resistance: When fire proofing or fire resistance is a requirement, the test shall be conducted to the procedures and requirements specified in AS1055. Satisfactory qualification to this standard and AS1055 meet the requirements of AS150 Type III, as applicable.
