This specification covers a premium aircraft-quality corrosion and heat-resistant steel in the form of bars, forgings, mechanical tubing, and forging stock.
Application:
These products have been used typically for critical carburized parts such as bearings, cams, shafts, gears, and bolts operating in a corrosive environment under heavy loads and high speeds at elevated temperature, and subject to very rigid inspection standards, but usage is not limited to such applications.
