Description / Abstract: The couplings procurable to this specification (derived from the cancelled MIL-DTL-27536) are intended for use on fluid line tubing joints, tailpipe joints, and accessory mount joints, on flight vehicles or other attachments where high performance and light weight are required and corrected loads are safely below the rated or proof loads specified on the applicable AS drawing. The couplings are semi-rigid are not intended to provide fluid-line flexibility except within the bending loads and deflections specified herein
